"In Her Darkest Hour"

In her darkest hour, she sleeps with the comfort a teddy bear
Long ago, it was a gift of a man she loved
A love so strong, so deep, it brought no fear
Until destiny turned the page and he moved
Every night her tear soaked lips kiss his picture
Praying, hoping, that somewhere in time he does the same
Under her sorrow filled pillow she places the heart filled picture
Dreaming dreams of passions, passions far from the sane
She cries, she screams to God to know why
Why must her pounding heart still beat without him?
Why must her silent soaked eyes continue to cry?
All she wants is to hold, to kiss, to touch, to make love to him
But at this very moment of despair, God will shine a light into her shadow
For unable to bear the unbearable, he stands outside her window
